In alignment with the growth of our Accounting Advisory practice, we invite applications for the role of Senior Manager. This pivotal position is essential to our ongoing expansion and offers the flexibility of a hybrid work environment, allowing you to operate from various office locations or remotely, with occasional travel for specific projects.
Key Responsibilities
As a Senior Manager, you will spearhead a team of professionals delivering consulting services to a diverse client base. Your primary focus will be to assist clients in identifying improvement opportunities and executing solutions that enhance their organizations. Your responsibilities will encompass:
- Cultivating robust client relationships and discerning their needs through business development initiatives.
- Mentoring and developing team members by providing constructive feedback.
- Leading internal projects and pinpointing areas for enhancement.
- Overseeing project resources, budgets, billing, and collections.
- Crafting and presenting thought leadership through sophisticated written and verbal communications.
Your enthusiasm for exemplary client service will be evident as you evaluate the current state of clients’ Corporate Accounting and Finance departments, guiding them toward their desired future state. This may involve digitizing or automating accounting workflows, optimizing processes, and delivering tailored solutions to achieve superior results.
Required Skills
- A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and an active CPA license are strongly preferred.
- A minimum of seven years of experience in public accounting or industry, with a focus on audit, accounting, or consulting services.
- Demonstrated ability to devise and implement strategies that refine accounting processes and enhance efficiency.
- Experience in business development and expanding services within existing or new clientele.
- Familiarity with accounting platforms such as SAP, NetSuite, Sage Intacct, Workday, Yardi, or QuickBooks.
- Strong leadership capabilities to guide cross-functional teams in process enhancement and automation.
- Proficiency in process mapping and analysis for workflow optimization.
- Exceptional organizational skills, capable of managing multiple initiatives concurrently.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, adaptable to various audiences.
- Analytical and diagnostic abilities, with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
- Willingness to travel as required for firm meetings and client site visits (up to 25%).
Qualifications
- Minimum seven years of relevant experience in audit, accounting, or consulting services, with a preference for candidates who possess experience in business development and process improvement.
- Proven track record of developing and executing strategies that enhance accounting procedures.
- Strong analytical and diagnostic skills with excellent communication and organizational capabilities.
