The Fanatics App team seeks a strategic and data-driven Senior Manager to lead our CRM and Growth initiatives. In this role, you’ll develop and execute innovative multi-channel campaigns that make the Fanatics App the go-to destination for sports fans worldwide, focusing on both growth and retention. Reporting to our Sr Director of Strategy, Ops, and Growth, you’ll be a critical leader within the Growth team, working closely with cross-functional partners to acquire, engage, and retain fans in our growing Sports ecosystem.
What You’ll Do
- Campaign Development and Execution: Own, design and launch high-impact, data-driven campaigns using email, push, and in-app messaging to drive fan acquisition, engagement, and retention, supporting key Fanatics App growth, revenue, and retention objectives.
- Growth: Collaborate with broader App growth team on external channel campaign development and execution (social, paid, brand, etc.). Leverage the Fanatics ecosystem and assets across all verticals.
- Campaign Planning & Briefs: Create detailed campaign briefs that outline requirements, deliverables, and metrics for success. Set the short and long-term growth strategy and plan for the Fanatics App. Partner closely with the Creative and Marketing team to review and approve assets that align with campaign goals and brand standards.
- Performance Analysis & Optimization: Regularly analyze campaign performance, identifying trends and opportunities to optimize customer segmentation, messaging strategies, and channel utilization to enhance Fan loyalty and engagement.
- Marketing Calendar Management: Develop and manage the marketing calendar, coordinating promotions, brand campaigns, and behavioral initiatives to ensure cohesive messaging and impactful timing across channels.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Product, Analytics, and other teams to align user messaging and promotional offers across the Fanatics Ecosystem, maximizing fan engagement across products.
- Innovation & Testing: Identify testing opportunities and contribute to building a robust testing roadmap, from planning and development through execution and scaling successful strategies.
- Team Leadership & Development: Act as a team leader, fostering collaboration, innovation, and a culture of continuous improvement within the CRM and Growth team.
What We’re Looking For
- Experience: 6+ years in CRM, Lifecycle, or Growth Marketing, with a proven record of driving user engagement and retention through multi-channel strategies. Proficiency with CRM platforms (Salesforce preferred) and analytical tools is essential.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field. MBA a plus
- Multi-Channel Campaigns: Hands-on experience building and executing multi-channel campaigns across email, push, and SMS.
- Communication & Presentation Skills: Strong communicator who can effectively present ideas, findings, and campaign results to key stakeholders.
- Data-Driven Mindset: Skilled at analyzing data in real-time, drawing insights, and adjusting strategies to optimize campaign performance.
- Problem-Solving & Collaboration: Collaborative and adaptable team player with strong problem-solving skills who thrives in fast-paced environments.
- Passion for Sports & Entertainment: A deep passion for sports, gaming, or entertainment products that translates into empathetic and thoughtful engagement strategies with fans.
The salary range for this position is $91,200 to $162,000, which represents base pay only and does not include short-term or long-term incentive compensation. Salary range incorporates all of our Geographical Compensation Zones and is subject to change as the Zone associated with the offer is confirmed. When determining base pay, as part of a final compensation package, we consider several factors such as location, experience, qualifications, and training.
