Position Summary
Supports the business by recommending appropriate actions, strategies and/or alternatives to meet business needs. Has responsibility for leading/managing of technical projects and/or programs during Implementation that fall outside of core IT functionality / scope. Ensures the end state of the project meets business objective(s) and that all deliverables and due dates are met. Highly collaborative process often requires managing relationships across the segments or multiple functional areas.
Required Qualifications
Fundamental Components:
- Ability to manages complex projects or programs through to implementation that impacts multiple processes, systems, functions and products.
- Develops and implements strategic business plan to achieve business goals.
- Identifies gaps and recommends enhancements related to new and/or existing products, services and workflows based on broad view of the organization.
- Collaborates and partners with other functional managers, and external partners and business areas across/within segments or other business areas to ensure all workflow processes and interdependencies are identified and addressed.
- Proactively works with BA’s and Business Owners to facilitate the requirements data capture; ensures BA’s using correct standard functional & technical requirements documents; Reviews final requirements artifacts; Attends and contributes to the Command Center
- Facilitates requirement UAT hand-off Health Plan and business owners and highlights known exceptions; monitors traceability, problem solves exceptions, and tracks test plan attainment; Conducts lessons learned on all missed requirements to determine root cause;
- Compiles weekly requirements dashboard and determines action plans for exceptions; works collaboratively with Medicaid IT to manage execution and measure performance against SLAs; assists and coaches stakeholders to facilitate coordination and flow of information; participates in cross-functional continuous improvement efforts with IT and functional groups; compiles and reviews actionable data/information/reports for decisions and actions
- Proactively manages and ensures compliance to the technology and requirements operating model
- Creates and maintains project plans and status reports in alignment with department guidelines
- Must have experience with requirements development, technology governance, and project management and be able to navigate / facilitate problem resolution with the business and IT.
Education
- BS degree or a minimum of 7 plus years of experience related to standards & measurements, technology, systems, processes including project consultation.
Pay Range
The typical pay range for this role is:
$67,900.00 – $166,000.00
This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above. This position also includes an award target in the company’s equity award program.
