Job Overview:
As the Senior Marketing Designer, you will be the go-to expert for creating versatile, high-quality visual content across multiple mediums. From digital graphics to video production and editing, you will ensure that all our marketing materials are not just on-brand but also innovative and engaging. This role requires proficiency in various design tools and the ability to adapt to different project needs, ranging from image creation to video editing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop high-quality, on-brand visuals for marketing campaigns, social media, websites, presentations, and promotional materials.
- Create and edit video content, including promotional videos, animations, and social media clips.
- Edit and enhance photos, illustrations, and digital assets to align with our brand’s visual identity.
- Work on a wide range of projects, including digital ads, infographics, GIFs, web graphics, and print materials.
- Understand and adapt to platform-specific design styles: Possess a deep knowledge of various social media platforms (e.g., TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, LinkedIn) and their unique content requirements. This includes:
- Creating content that adheres to platform-specific formats and dimensions (e.g., 9:16 for TikTok, 1:1 for Instagram posts).
- Knowing the key “no-go” zones for text and critical design elements on each platform, such as the TikTok overlay (captions, icons) and Instagram’s grid structure.
- Understanding platform trends, user behaviors, and what type of content performs best (e.g., Reels on Instagram vs. Stories).
- Collaborate closely with the marketing team to ensure all content aligns with brand guidelines and marketing strategies.
- Stay up to date with design and video editing trends, incorporating best practices into your work.
- Manage multiple design projects simultaneously, meeting tight deadlines without compromising quality.
- Maintain brand guidelines to ensure visual consistency across all marketing materials.
- Provide creative input and ideas during brainstorming sessions to continuously improve the brand’s marketing content.
Required Skills and Tools:
- Versatility in both image and video editing: Ability to work across various mediums and formats, from static graphics to dynamic video content.
- Proficiency in major design and video editing software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite).
- Strong understanding of branding, marketing, and advertising principles.
- Experience in creating various types of content, including infographics, social media graphics, website assets, and promotional videos.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects efficiently.
