Position Summary:
Inman is seeking an experienced marketing manager to join the team, focusing on event marketing. This role is crucial in driving growth of Inman events, ensuring high attendance and engagement. The ideal candidate has a track record as a marketing-minded strategic thinker who is results-driven, detail-oriented, and adept at managing multiple projects simultaneously.
Key Responsibilities:
- Event Growth Marketing: Create strategic roadmap and execute marketing growth plans to drive event attendance/revenue for in-person real estate events including creative development, campaign management, and performance analysis.
- Multi-Channel Management: Act as the subject matter expert and tactical lead for multi-marketing channels, managing assets, performance, and reporting. Channels include email, websites, landing pages and in-house display.
- Creative Development: Write compelling and conversion-driven marketing collateral within a tight schedule. The candidate should excel in crafting targeted, persuasive email strategies that effectively drive conversions.
- Collaborative Planning and Execution: Work closely with the Director of Event Marketing to strategize and implement channel marketing efforts.
- Cross-Team Collaboration: Support and collaborate with product, event, and marketing teams.
- Data Analysis and Reporting: Analyze key data and provide regular performance insights updates and reports to the team.
- Project Management: Manage a marketing calendar, track progress, and report on metrics, milestones, and deliverables.
Key Skills & Knowledge:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a B2C or B2B marketing role, with a focus on email marketing and digital marketing channel management.
- Strong marketing funnel management skills.
- Attention to detail with excellent problem-solving, organizational, and multitasking skills.
- Ability to independently execute responsibilities while coordinating with a team.
- Strategic thinker with a methodical execution approach.
- Enthusiasm for a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with WordPress, Unbounce, Sailthru (or other Marketing Automation Platforms), Canva, Google Analytics, Google Drive and Adobe Creative Suite (including Photoshop, Indesign, Illustrator and Dreamweaver)” is a plus.
