Senior Mobile Application Developer (Remote)

Job Summary

As a Senior Mobile App Developer at OphyCare, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining intuitive and high-performance mobile applications. You will work closely with backend developers, product managers, and other cross-functional teams to enhance and expand our mobile platform. Your expertise in mobile technologies, UI/UX design, and application development will be vital in delivering an exceptional user experience and ensuring the performance and reliability of our mobile solutions. Additionally, you will play a key role in driving the continuous improvement of our mobile architecture, promoting innovation, and optimizing functionality in a dynamic, multi-tenant environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Mobile App Development:
• Design, develop, and maintain highly responsive, scalable mobile applications using React Native.
• Collaborate closely with backend developers, designers, and product managers to implement UI/UX designs tailored to OphyCare’s healthcare platform requirements.
• Optimize application performance and responsiveness across various mobile devices to ensure a smooth and seamless user experience.
• Integrate APIs and backend services to enable dynamic and real-time features within the mobile application.
• Maintain a clean, reusable codebase adhering to best practices and comprehensive documentation standards.
• Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve performance issues and bugs specific to mobile platforms.
• Stay current with the latest mobile development trends and React Native advancements, applying these insights to enhance development processes.
• Contribute to an Agile workflow by participating in sprint planning, stand-ups, and code reviews.
• Support multi-tenant architecture to ensure each user or tenant has tailored access to application features.
• AI Integration:
• Collaborate on the integration of AI technologies to enhance mobile app features and functionality.
• Stay informed about advancements in AI and propose ways to incorporate AI-driven solutions into mobile applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Utilize AWS cloud services to deploy and manage secure, scalable, and cost-effective backend infrastructure, ensuring optimal resource allocation for multi-tenant environments.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines by using Git for version control, automating deployment processes, and maintaining deployment scripts.
• Maintain thorough documentation of backend services, APIs, and database schemas with a focus on multi-tenant architecture, and create technical documentation for new features and system updates.
• Stay informed about the latest trends in mobile development, AI, and cloud technologies, experimenting with new tools and proposing enhancements to existing systems and processes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address business needs, actively participate in Agile Scrum ceremonies, and mentor junior developers while sharing knowledge and expertise.

Skills Required

• Expertise in React Native and JavaScript for mobile app development.
• Experience with integrating RESTful APIs into mobile applications.
• Proficiency in optimizing mobile app performance and responsiveness.
• Knowledge of mobile app design principles and UI/UX best practices.
• Skills in Git version control and CI/CD workflows for mobile development.
• Understanding of security best practices for mobile applications.
• Strong debugging and problem-solving capabilities specific to mobile environments.
• Experience with unit testing and test-driven development (TDD) for mobile apps.
• Expertise in publishing and managing apps on Google Play and the Apple App Store.
• Excellent collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively within cross-functional teams.

Educational Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
