Job Description

We are looking for a highly skilled Full Stack Mobile App Engineer (Senior) with extensive experience in both frontend and backend development. You will be instrumental in designing and implementing the full technology stack for our mobile applications, ensuring robust, secure, and scalable solutions. Additionally, you will collaborate closely with our AI team to integrate advanced functionalities.

Responsibilities

• Full Stack Development: Design, develop, and maintain both frontend (React Native) and backend (Node.js, Express.js) components of the mobile application.
• API Management: Create and manage RESTful and GraphQL APIs for seamless frontend-backend integration.
• Data Storage: Implement secure and scalable server-side database solutions using MongoDB or PostgreSQL and manage local storage on devices using Realm or SQLite.
• Cloud Services: Utilize AWS or Azure for deploying and managing backend infrastructure.
• Collaborate with Teams: Work closely with frontend developers, AI specialists, designers, and product managers to deliver cohesive and high-performing applications.
• Optimize Performance: Ensure both frontend and backend systems are efficient, scalable, and capable of handling growing data and user bases.
• Ensure Security: Implement best practices to protect sensitive health data and maintain compliance with data privacy regulations.
• Testing & Debugging: Conduct thorough testing, debugging, and resolve issues promptly to ensure reliability and efficiency.
• Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with emerging technologies and continuously enhance backend and frontend architectures.

Requirements and Skills

• Experience Level: Senior
• Technical Skills:
• 5+ years of full-stack development experience with React Native and Node.js/Express.js
• Proficient in JavaScript, TypeScript, and server-side programming
• Strong experience with server-side databases like MongoDB or PostgreSQL
• Expertise in RESTful and GraphQL API development
• Knowledge of cloud services (AWS or Azure)
• Experience with local storage solutions like Realm or SQLite
• Understanding of data protection and security best practices
• Proficient with version control systems, preferably Git
• Problem-Solving: Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
• Communication: Strong communication and collaboration abilities

Nice to Have:

• Experience with health or fitness backend systems
• AI model integration experience
