Role Description

This is a full-time role for a Senior Mobile React Native App Developer. The Senior Mobile React Native App Developer will be responsible for developing and maintaining mobile applications using React Native, collaborating with the team on design and implementation, and ensuring the performance and quality of the applications.

Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced Senior React Native Developer to join our mobile development team. You will lead the development of high-quality mobile applications on both iOS and Android platforms, leveraging your expertise in React Native to create seamless and performant user experiences. As a senior developer, you will mentor junior developers, collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, and play a key role in architectural decisions and the development of new features.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and Maintain Mobile Applications: Lead the development and implementation of new features for mobile applications using React Native on iOS and Android platforms.
• Lead Architecture and Design: Collaborate with product managers, designers, and backend developers to create scalable, maintainable, and robust application architectures.
• Performance Optimization: Ensure high performance of mobile apps by identifying bottlenecks and optimizing the application for speed and scalability.
• Cross-Platform Development: Write clean, maintainable code that runs on both iOS and Android devices while leveraging platform-specific capabilities.
• Mentorship and Code Review: Provide technical leadership to junior developers, conduct code reviews, and promote best practices for mobile development.
• Continuous Integration & Deployment: Implement and improve CI/CD pipelines for fast and efficient mobile app delivery.
• Stay Up-to-Date: Keep up with the latest industry trends and advancements in mobile development, including libraries, frameworks, and tools.

Qualifications:

• Experience: 5+ years of experience in mobile app development, with a strong focus on React Native.
• React Native Expertise: Proficiency in React Native and associated technologies (Redux, Typescript, Hooks, etc.).
• Mobile Development: Strong understanding of the mobile app ecosystem, including experience with iOS (Swift/Objective-C) and Android (Kotlin/Java) development.
• APIs & Backend Integration: Experience working with RESTful APIs, third-party libraries, and integrating backend services.
• Testing & Debugging: Expertise in testing and debugging mobile applications (unit testing, integration testing, etc.).
• Version Control: Strong knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git).
• Problem-Solving: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical challenges.
• Communication: Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Team Leadership: Experience leading a team of developers or working in a leadership capacity is a plus.

Nice-to-Have Skills:

• Familiarity with native development for iOS (Swift/Objective-C) and Android (Kotlin/Java).
• Experience with GraphQL or other modern backend integrations.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, automation tools, and cloud-based mobile platforms.
• Previous experience with App Store and Google Play Store submission process.
• UI/UX design principles and experience working with designers to implement highly polished interfaces.
