Are you a seasoned mortgage professional with a passion for helping clients achieve their homeownership dreams? We are looking for a skilled Mortgage Loan Officer to join our team. In this role, you will provide top-notch mortgage services, guiding clients through every step of the mortgage process—from application to closing. Collaboration with clients to understand their financial goals and offering tailored mortgage solutions will be paramount. Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with clients to understand their financial goals and recommend the best mortgage solutions.
  • Guide clients through the entire mortgage process, including pre-qualification, application, underwriting, and closing for both purchase and refinance transactions.
  • Provide clear and comprehensive information on available loan programs and products.
  • Assess clients’ financial status and creditworthiness to determine suitable mortgage options.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, real estate agents, and other referral sources.
  • Monitor loan application progress, ensuring all documentation is completed accurately and on time.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, regulations, and market conditions.
  • Address clients’ questions and concerns throughout the loan process.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth and efficient loan processing.
  • Achieve or exceed sales targets and business development goals.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and company policies.
  • Manage your loan pipeline to ensure a smooth workflow.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, or a related field preferred.
  • At least 5 years of experience in mortgage lending or a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of mortgage loan products, underwriting, and regulations.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage a pipeline of loans effectively.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Proficient in mortgage software and related tools.
  • Licensed as a Mortgage Loan Originator (MLO) in the relevant state(s).
  • A client-focused approach with a strong commitment to outstanding customer service.
