Senior Node Js Full Stack Developer (Remote)

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly committed Senior Node.js Full Stack Developer for a long-term project (1-year contract). This is a self-employed, remote position open to candidates based in India who are willing to work during Eastern Standard Time (EST) hours. Key Responsibilities:

• Node.js REST API Development: Leverage 8+ years of experience to design, develop, and maintain robust RESTful APIs using Node.js, ensuring high performance and responsiveness to frontend requests.
• AWS Expertise: Utilize 4+ years of hands-on experience with AWS to deploy, manage, and scale applications. Familiarity with services like EC2, S3, Lambda, and DynamoDB is essential.
• Backend Implementation: Demonstrate diverse knowledge in backend implementations, including working with Message Queues (MQ), upstream and downstream data flows, batch processing, simple CRUD operations, notifications, and real-time communications using Server-Sent Events or WebSockets.
• Frontend Development: Apply 5+ years of experience with React.js or Angular to develop interactive and responsive user interfaces. Knowledge of HTML and CSS is a plus.
• Adaptability and Learning: Exhibit a backend developer mindset with a strong willingness to learn new technology stacks on short notice, ensuring you stay ahead in the rapidly evolving tech landscape.
• API Integration: Proficiently read, understand, and integrate existing REST API documentation from various sources to enhance system interoperability.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, contributing to a collaborative environment. Share knowledge, mentor junior developers, and participate actively in code reviews.
• Problem-Solving: Tackle complex technical challenges with innovative solutions, optimizing application performance and scalability.

Qualifications:

• Availability: Must be willing to work during Eastern Standard Time (EST) hours to collaborate effectively with the USA-based team.
• Location: Open to candidates based in India who are eligible to apply.

Experience:

• Minimum of 8+ years in Node.js REST API development.
• At least 5+ years with Angular or React.js.
• 4+ years of experience working with AWS cloud services.

Technical Skills:

• Strong proficiency in JavaScript and asynchronous programming.
• Extensive experience with backend technologies and database systems.
• Familiarity with microservices architecture and containerization tools like Docker and Kubernetes is a plus.
• Understanding of front-end technologies including HTML5, CSS3, and responsive design principles.
