Senior Operational Finance Manager Healthcare (Remote)

Job Summary:

The Senior Operational Finance Manager will assist the CFO to oversee Finance and Operations to ensure financial sustainability of the company and it’s clients. We are looking for an individual who can drive the financial planning of the company by analyzing its performance and risks and manage all financial aspects of the business.

This role will play a pivotal role in providing financial guidance and support to our growing network of pain management clinics. This remote position will be based in the Philippines and will require a deep understanding of healthcare finance, particularly within the pain management sector. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, a proven track record in financial forecasting and reporting, and a consulting mindset to effectively guide our clients towards financial success

Key Responsibilities:

• Retain constant awareness of the company’s financial position and act to prevent problems
• Conduct comprehensive financial analyses to assess the financial health of our client practices, including profitability, cash flow, and return on investment
• Develop accurate financial forecasts and projections to support strategic decision- making and budgeting
• Oversee and manage financial reporting, including P&L, Balance Sheet, Statement of Cash Flows
• Manage all treasury functions including cash management, accounts payable and banking
• Support operational teams in ad hoc analysis and KPI reporting. Provide strategic financial advice and guidance to company clients, helping them to improve financial performance and achieve their goals
• Prepare timely and detailed reports on financial performance on a monthly basis. Review and oversee client’s finance teams to ensure accurate and timely execution of monthly financial reports
• Conduct analysis to make forecasts and report to upper executives
• Ensure adherence to financial laws and guidelines

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Proven experience in a financial management role for 5+ years in healthcare
• In-depth knowledge of corporate finance and accounting principles, laws and best practices
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Proficient understanding of the revenue cycle management process for US healthcare insurances
• Advanced knowledge of financial analysis, forecasting and financial modeling
• Advanced in the use of MS Office and financial management software (e.g. Quickbooks)
• An analytical mind with a strategic ability
• Excellent organizational and leadership skills
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Familiar with healthcare regulatory and compliance requirements

Education and Experience:

Minimum of 5 years’ experience in managerial healthcare finance

BSc/BA in accounting, finance or relevant field; MBA is a plus

CPA or other relevant qualification is a plus
