Senior Outsourcing Oversight Specialist (Remote)

Your tasks and responsibilities:

• Taking responsibility over the outsourcing management of Universal-Investment Gesellschaft mbH as part of the 2nd Line of Defence
• Development, implementation and monitoring of standards and processes of the outsourcing management
• Supporting 1st Line departments in the onboarding process and the ongoing controlling and monitoring of services in line with relevant regulatory requirements on outsourcing
• Preparation and maintenance of the relevant written regulations (outsourcing guidelines, organizational and work instructions) in consultation with other specialist units (e.g. Corporate Legal)
• Maintenance of the outsourcing portfolio (outsourcing inventory), as well as implementation and coordination of annual control and monitoring measures
• Project support activities in the implementation of regulatory requirements for outsourcing activities
• Contact person for internal, external, vis-à-vis auditors, and supervisory authorities for outsourcing matters

Your skills and experience:

• Minimum of 2+ years of experience in Outsourcing Management/Controlling or Risk Management/Controlling
• Practical experience in the conception, integration, and control of processes
• Experience in project activities
• Knowledge of regulatory environment and implications (ideally) of German regulatory (KAIT/BAIT, KaMaRisk/MaRisk and/or EBA Guideline 2019/02 on Outsourcing) or other European Financial Supervision Authority (DORA, Recital 82 AIFM Level 2-Regluation).
• Structured, analytical and conceptual working methods
• High problem-solving skills
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
• Very good verbal and written English language skills. German language skills are preferable
