We are in search of a dedicated and innovative Senior Associate Press Officer to join our organization remotely. Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategic media initiatives to amplify public understanding of environmental challenges.
• Foster and maintain robust relationships with journalists and media platforms to ensure extensive coverage of our initiatives.
• Create persuasive communication materials such as press releases and media advisories that clearly convey our core messages.
• Collaborate closely with our policy and advocacy teams to devise and execute effective communication strategies.
• Engage with key stakeholders, including environmental justice communities and NGOs, to strengthen partnerships.

Required Skills

• 3-5 years of experience in media relations or public affairs.
• Exceptional writing and communication abilities: capacity to articulate complex issues in an engaging manner.
• Strong organizational and project management capabilities: adept at handling multiple tasks and meeting deadlines.
• A passionate commitment to environmental protection and justice: a desire to contribute meaningfully to this cause.
• Excellent interpersonal skills: ability to cultivate and sustain effective relationships with journalists, stakeholders, and team members.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Environmental Studies, or a related field is required.
