Senior Process Executive (Remote)

Cognizant is a large IT consulting firm that uses modern technologies to transform a variety of business operations. We are looking for an experienced Senior Process Executive who has the ability to accurately coordinate, administer and maintain weekly and bi-weekly payroll activities, including time and labor entry, processing of tax documents and ensuring compliance. This role is remote but we are looking for candidates near College Station, Texas. Only local candidates will be considered.

Role Responsibilities

• accurately coordinate, administer and maintain weekly and bi-weekly payroll activities, including time and labor entry, processing of tax documents and ensuring compliance.
• track incoming phone and email inquiries; including the ability to respond and resolve within 1 business day.
• Will conduct payroll audits and resolve discrepancies

Desired Skills & Qualifications

• End to end payroll knowledge (time & admin, reconciliations, tax, garnishments, reporting, off cycle payments, etc.)
• Must have at least 1 year of experience in payroll management.
• Strong experience in Microsoft office.
• Ability to support year end activities including W2 validation and distribution
• Proficiency in understanding legislation related to payroll and potential changes
• Ability to meet tight deadlines.
• Ability to identify and standardize process improvements to increase efficiency.

• Demonstrate ability to maintain composure, to be adaptable in difficult situations, and to effectively collaborate with various stakeholders.
• Established customer service skills
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.

Salary And Other Compensation

The hourly rate for this position is between $21.63 per hour, depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
