About The Role
The company is seeking a **Senior Product Designer** who will be tasked with executing user experience and user interface deliverables for a proprietary product, as well as creating various visual assets for the product team and other departments. This role involves working with and contributing to the design system and visual asset libraries. Effective communication skills are essential, particularly in relaying creative concepts to the design team. Furthermore, this individual will help mentor junior team members and will report to the Design Director.
Responsibilities
– Design product deliverables such as process flows, wireframes, high-fidelity mockups, UI assets, and interactive prototypes.
– Define, document, and maintain UI requirements while adhering to UX best practices, ensuring a consistent experience throughout the product.
– Provide design support through the development and QA processes.
– Collaborate with Product Managers and Tech Leads, as well as engage directly with users to gather requirements and insights for future product improvements.
– Create presentation decks, feature documentation, and various collateral for the product team and other departments.
– Maintain awareness of industry best practices, implement them when appropriate, and share UX trends with team members.
– Assist with the ongoing improvement of the design system and deliver visually designed components that are consistent and cohesive.
– Ensure that all creative output and visuals are aligned with the overall brand, adhering to brand guidelines.
– Champion innovative and creative ideas.
Requirements
– A BA/BFA degree in a visual or experiential design discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
– 5+ years of experience as a UX/UI Designer or Product Designer, ideally with experience working on complex solutions for digital products within the advertising or ad tech industry.
– Proficiency in Figma, including nested components and auto-layout.
– Ability to manage multiple projects from inception to completion.
– Excellent interpersonal skills to clearly and effectively communicate the creative vision, concepts, ideas, and solutions to internal teams.
– Capability to work effectively in a team setting, including synthesizing plans into concrete visual assets.
– An innate curiosity regarding the advertising industry and technology, with a rapid learning ability.
– Proficient in prioritizing work effectively.
– Highly organized and detail-oriented.
– Strong communication skills across verbal, written, interpersonal, and presentation formats.
– A collaborative individual capable of working both independently and as part of a team.
– Driven with a determination to learn and adapt in a fast-paced digital world.
– Possess the highest standards of professionalism, integrity, and ethics.
– Ability to travel a minimum of 15% per year for onsite meetings, training, etc.
