Senior Product Designer (Remote)

About the Company

Wafeq is a fast-growing startup in the accounting and e-invoicing space. As a Product Designer, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the user experience and visual aesthetics of our mobile and web products. You will collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, and other designers to create compelling designs that meet user needs and business objectives.

About the Role

As a Product Designer, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

• Conceptualizing and creating user-centric designs for mobile and web applications that are visually appealing, intuitive, and functional.
• Conducting user research, usability testing, and gathering feedback to inform design decisions and iterate on designs effectively.
• Collaborating with stakeholders to define product requirements, user flows, and feature specifications.

• Creating wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups to communicate design ideas and concepts effectively.
• Working closely with engineering teams to ensure design feasibility and consistency across platforms.
• Staying updated with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to continuously improve design processes and deliverables.
• Contributing to design system development, maintaining design assets, and adhering to brand guidelines.
• Participating in design critiques, brainstorming sessions, and providing constructive feedback to peers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree – or equivalent experience – in graphic design, computer science, or a related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in product design, UX design, or working on consumer-facing digital products.
• Experience in building, maintaining, and working with design systems.
• Experience in building mobile apps for iOS and Android.
• Experience in building web applications.
• Familiarity with creating end-to-end user flows, wireframes, and prototypes.
• Strong user-centric mindset, focusing on users’ needs and frustrations, with the ability to deeply understand and reframe problems.
• Strategic thinking about business and product goals.
• Excellent analytical skills, with experience in data-driven design methodologies.
• Proficiency in solving complex design problems.
• Exceptional attention to detail.
• Proficiency in Figma.
• Proactive and effective communication skills, with the ability to suggest and discuss ideas.
• Adaptability to changes during a project.
• High level of autonomy and commitment.
• Ability to handle and implement constructive feedback.

Pay Range and Compensation
