Key Responsibilities
- Spearhead the evaluation and decision-making process regarding which systems to retain, revise, or outsource, emphasizing scalability and efficiency in partnership with engineering for billing system redesigns.
- Take charge of identifying and documenting obscure processes, establishing yourself as the authority on our billing architecture to foster clarity and transparency.
- Supervise billing systems, guaranteeing that critical metrics such as payment success, accuracy, and uptime are consistently achieved while optimizing systems to support vital business KPIs.
- Drive the discovery of new billing features, articulate specifications, and oversee the development process to ensure alignment with business requirements and effective technical solutions.
- Serve as the principal product owner for billing, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, including Accounting, Tax, Audit, and senior leadership, to maintain coherence and promote success.
Required Skills
- A minimum of 6 years of experience in product or technical program management, particularly within finance, billing systems, or fintech products.
- Proven experience in leading essential systems such as payment or billing infrastructures.
- Demonstrated history of enhancing business metrics and facilitating revenue growth.
- Strong background in working alongside engineering teams to assess and manage system redesigns, rewrites, and migrations.
- Capable of owning the product lifecycle from discovery through execution.
- Exceptional communication and leadership abilities, facilitating alignment among diverse teams across the organization.
Qualifications
- Experience with both subscription and performance-based billing models is preferred.
- Willingness to collaborate across various time zones, with a preference for East Coast time zone, but this is not mandatory.

Salary Range
The US base salary range for this full-time role is (167,500 – )220,000. Compensation within this range will be determined by location, role-related knowledge, skills, experience, and education.
