About The Role

We’re seeking an experienced and driven Product Manager to join our team on a fractional basis (10-20 hours per week) with the goal to transition into full-time or help source the first full time product hire. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in shaping the future of consumer AI, working closely with the C-team to define and execute the product strategy. 

You will be responsible for conceiving and bringing innovative products to market, collaborating with cross-functional teams and maintaining a rigorous KPI-driven approach to product development.

Job Requirements

• Generative AI Enthusiast: You must be knowledgeable in the generative AI creation landscape and workflows. This includes text-to-video diffusion models, audio-based tools (Elevenlabs, etc) and the process of creating content using these tools.
• Product Strategist: Define and champion the product vision, strategy, and roadmap, ensuring alignment with business goals and user needs.
• Market Navigator: Conduct thorough market research, user analysis, and competitive analysis to identify opportunities and unmet needs.
• User Advocate: Translate user needs into detailed product specifications and use cases, ensuring the product meets the needs of the target audience.
• Prioritization Owner: Effectively manage the product backlog, prioritize features, and ensure alignment with the product roadmap and business objectives.
• Active Collaborator: Collaborate closely with engineering, design, and marketing teams throughout the product development lifecycle
• Metrics Obsessed:You will own our KPI’s, establishing a consistent cadence for monitoring and acting on the data that matters  
• Risk Taker – You will become an expert in generative AI to identify opportunities that leverage the advancements in the field to move our platform forward.

Experience Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in product management, with a proven track record of consumer product success, owning and shipping products in either the entertainment, gaming, or social media industry.
• Experience working in a company with less than 200 employees.
• Deep understanding of user experience (UX) principles and best practices.
• Strong understanding of AI concepts and technologies, particularly diffusion models and their applications in content creation.
• Excellent data analysis skills and a data-driven approach to decision-making.
• Proven experience in conducting user research, usability testing, and incorporating user feedback into product development.
• Proven experience thriving in a fast-paced, dynamic startup environment, demonstrating adaptability and a comfort level with ambiguity.
• Self-starter with a strong entrepreneurial mindset and a results-oriented approach.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and solve complex product challenges.
