Senior Product Manager (Remote)

Role Overview:

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Product Manager to lead the development and execution of our web-based products. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, marketing, and customer success, to create impactful product roadmaps and guide the development process. Your experience in managing engineering teams using tools like Jira will be key in driving the product’s success.

As a start-up we are seeking someone with a lot of grit, intelligence, and a strong work ethic. We aren’t looking for someone who wants to coast by in a 9-5. We are trying to change the world, and we want people who share that vision!

Key Responsibilities:

• Product Strategy & Vision: Define and execute the product strategy for web applications, aligned with the company’s vision and customer needs.
• Roadmap Development: Own the creation and management of the product roadmap, ensuring clear communication of priorities and timelines to internal teams and stakeholders.
• Cross-Functional Leadership: Collaborate with engineering, design, and business teams to ensure timely delivery of features and improvements.
• Agile Project Management: Use tools like Jira to manage sprints, backlog grooming, and day-to-day workflow of the engineering team.
• Customer-Centric Development: Conduct user research, gather feedback, and translate insights into product improvements.
• Data-Driven Decision Making: Leverage analytics, A/B testing, and other quantitative data to guide product decisions.
• Startup Agility: Thrive in a fast-paced, constantly evolving startup environment, and adapt quickly to changing priorities.

Key Qualifications:

• Experience: 5+ years of product management experience, with a strong focus on web applications and at least 3+ years in startup environments.
• Technical Fluency: Comfortable working with engineering teams, understanding technical concepts, and making informed decisions.
• Jira Expertise: Extensive experience using Jira (or similar tools) to manage development processes, from sprint planning to issue tracking.
• Roadmap Mastery: Proven ability to create and execute strategic product roadmaps that align with business goals.
• Agile Methodology: Hands-on experience with Agile development frameworks and methodologies.
• Strong Communication: Excellent communication and presentation skills, able to articulate product vision and priorities to diverse teams.
• Leadership: Ability to lead and inspire cross-functional teams in a collaborative, transparent, and results-oriented way.

Nice to Have:

• Start-up experience is a plus!
• Experience working on B2B or B2C SaaS products.
• Familiarity with tools like Confluence, Trello, or other project management platforms.
• A background in UX/UI design or development.
