About the role:
We are looking for a Senior Product Manager who will help shape our growing product team and be responsible for delivering best-in-class payment products for our customers. The Senior Product Manager, Risk & Compliance, will manage the risk and compliance domain for all of our bank-account-based, aka account-to-account (A2A) payment products, ensuring that risk management and compliance are integrated seamlessly into the user experience and our internal processes.
What will you do?
- Lead the strategic vision and execution of product initiatives in the Risk and Compliance domain, ensuring alignment with our broader goals and market needs.
- Drive product development from conception to launch, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, marketing, compliance and legal.
- Champion a user-centric approach in product design and development, balancing user needs with regulatory compliance and risk management.
- Oversee and guide the product roadmap, prioritizing features and initiatives that align with business objectives and deliver maximum impact.
- Act as a key decision-maker in defining product requirements and specifications, ensuring solutions are scalable, reliable, and deliver tangible value to users.
- Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement within the team, encouraging experimentation and learning from both successes and setbacks.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners, effectively communicating product vision and progress.
What we are looking for:
- 5+ years in Product Management with a focus on building platform products and serving diverse internal and external stakeholders at scale.
- Experience with compliance and regulation in financial services is a must-have.
- Successfully managed technical software products from project kick-off to delivery, showcasing a comprehensive understanding of the product lifecycle.
- Consistent track record of leading ambitious 0-to-1 projects, demonstrating the ability to navigate challenging and ambiguous situations with confidence.
- Strong stakeholder management skills, adept at navigating difficult situations, negotiating timelines, and influencing internal and external stakeholders across organizational boundaries.
- Exceptional communication skills, capable of summarizing and expressing complex requirements in a clear and precise manner.
- Seamlessly switch between technical and commercial problem-solving approaches, fostering inclusivity in the decision-making process.
- Knowledge or experience with online KYC (know your customer)/identity verification products and account aggregation solutions such as Plaid, Flinks, or similar providers would be considered an asset.
- Experience using analytics tools such as Tableau, Looker, etc., showcasing a commitment to data-driven decision-making would be considered an asset.
