Calix provides the cloud, software platforms, systems and services required for communications service providers to simplify their businesses, excite their subscribers and grow their value.
As a part of the Calix marketing team, you’ll be helping us empower Broadband service providers to leverage Calix’s broadband platform, cloud, and managed services to simplify their operations, subscriber engagement, and services; innovate for their consumer, business, and municipal subscribers; and grow their value for members, investors, and the communities they serve. The Product Marketing Senior Manager role is responsible for working cross functionally with the various Product Marketing leads and Demand Generation Team to launch and promote new Success solutions and services and capabilities into market. The role will help drive awareness and demand for Calix Success as part of a differentiated and unmatched end-to-end solution.
The role will also help ensure successful new solutions and service launch and campaign execution across digital and social media channels and ensure Calix Success messaging in integrated into other product marketing campaigns.
Responsibilities & Duties:
- Develop and execute marketing strategies to help grow the Success business.
- Responsible for driving campaigns and tactics for Calix Success aligned to the larger Calix campaign strategy.
- Develop go-to-market strategies for new services and enhancements on a quarterly release cadence that includes customer persuasive case analysis descriptions, customer-facing assets by buyer’s journey stage, sales enablement material, webinars, web updates, and demand gen activities.
- Work closely with subject matter experts for developing positioning and messaging including applicable competitive differentiation for use in developing assets and campaign tactics.
- Develop social media campaign calendar to support the Success business, write posts, upload to Hootsuite, measure and track
- Responsible for identifying, preparing, updating, and tracking inventory of customer-facing digital and descriptive assets based on web, social media, and campaign requirements that are aligned with the customer journey.
- Work with Success Product Line Leaders, copywriters, and internal subject matter experts to bring customer-facing assets to completion to help promote the services and create leads.
- Administer, review, and update customer-facing presentations in accordance with new product and service releases.
- Work on customer testimonial and solution-focused videos including storyboard creation and development for use in digital, social media, paid media, and other demand-gen activities.
- Develop targeted customer segment lists and associated digital marketing assets for demand-generation outreach and nurturing activities.
- Working closely with the Demand Generation team, develop and execute campaigns and tactics including assets.
- Support Success Enablement strategy and execution as needed.
- Support Field Marketing efforts and events such as ConneXions and Sales Kick Off with Success content and activities.
Qualifications:
- Candidate ideally has 6-10 years of product marketing experience
- A bachelor’s degree in marketing or business
- Leadership skills: The ability to motivate, inspire, and empower cross functional teams to achieve common goals.
- Communication skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills to effectively convey ideas, provide feedback, and collaborate with stakeholders.
- Strategic and critical thinking abilities: The capacity to think strategically, develop comprehensive marketing strategies, and make informed decisions.
- Vision and clarity: A clear vision for stakeholders, lines of business, and organization, along with the ability to align marketing efforts with business objectives.
- This person should expect to travel around 20% of the time

Compensation will vary based on geographical location (see below) within the United States. Individual pay is determined by the candidate’s location of residence and multiple factors, including job-related skills, experience, and education.
There are different ranges applied to specific locations. The average base pay range (or OTE range for sales) in the U.S. for the position is listed below.
San Francisco Bay Area Only:
184,000.00 – 276,000.00 USD Annual
National Major Cities plus, CA, CO, NY Metro area:
160,000.00 – 240,000.00 USD Annual
Regional plus NY:
144,000.00 – 216,000.00 USD Annual
