Senior Product Operations Manager | Andela | United States
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Product Operations Manager to lead the development and execution of strategies that will enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of our product teams. In this role, you will drive critical initiatives around product communication, feedback loops, and process improvement, with the goal of 10x’ing the perceived capacity of our product team. You will play a key role in ensuring that internal stakeholders and customers are fully informed and engaged with our product developments and that the product team operates at peak performance through streamlined processes and tools.
Key Responsibilities:
Product Communications Strategy
- Design, implement, and manage a comprehensive product communications strategy and all corresponding systems and tools.
- Stay abreast of product communications best practices and system features, ensuring Andela is constantly on par with our strategy and implementation against industry standards
- Serve as a key liaison between the product team and internal stakeholders, ensuring timely and effective communication about product updates, roadmaps, and releases.
- Partner with Product Marketing to Ddevelop and execute customer-facing communication programs to ensure users are fully informed and empowered to leverage new features and product changes.
- Define, manage, and report on product communication OKRs
Product Feedback Strategy & Execution
- Create and execute a product feedback strategy that includes the collection, aggregation, and organization of feedback from customers, sales, support, and other key stakeholders.
- Establish a structured communication flow that ensures a consistent feedback loop, keeping teams informed of incoming feedback and the actions being taken in response.
- Partner with product managers to ensure that feedback is incorporated into product planning and development processes.
- Own, configure, and administer any systems associated with feedback collection, analysis and communication.
- Deliver regular reports that provide analysis against our product communications OKRs and process adherence
Product Team Strategy & Operations
- Streamline and optimize product team processes, operational rigor, collaboration mechanisms, and tools to drive efficiency and scale the team’s impact, both internally and externally.
- Contribute to, and in some cases run, strategic initiatives for the product team, such as product experiments or internal enablement initiatives
- Identify and implement solutions that allow the product team to focus on high-value tasks and 10x their output.
Qualifications:
- 8+ years of experience in Product Operations, Product Management, Tech Strategy & Operations, or a related field.
- Proven ability to design and execute effective communication and feedback strategies in a product-driven organization.
- Strong understanding of product management processes, tools, and methodologies.
- Exceptional organizational and program management skills, with a track record of driving operational improvements.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively across teams.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Preferred:
- Experience in SaaS or technology-driven environments.
- Familiarity with tools like Jira, Confluence, and other product management and communication tools.
