Position Overview: The Crux Firm is seeking a highly experienced Senior Program Manager to lead and oversee a large-scale government contract with over 100 employees. This is a critical leadership role managing a healthcare operations program, with a focus on public health, veterans’ health services, and related government healthcare entities. The ideal candidate will bring a wealth of experience in both project and program management across diverse sectors, including the private, nonprofit, and government industries. Expertise with VA healthcare programs and leadership in similar capacities is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage a large-scale government healthcare contract with over 100 employees.
• Lead and direct multi-disciplinary teams to ensure the successful delivery of public health programs, particularly within the VA healthcare system.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including government agencies, private sector partners, and non-profit organizations, to drive program objectives.
• Ensure all contract deliverables are met on time, within scope, and budget, while maintaining high-quality standards.
• Develop strategic plans, goals, and performance metrics to ensure continuous improvement of healthcare operations.
• Manage program risks and implement corrective actions as needed.
• Provide regular reports and updates to senior leadership on program progress and performance.
• Lead program governance, managing all program activities including staffing, resource allocation, and budget oversight.
• Drive innovation and improvements in the delivery of public health services.

Key Qualifications:

• 10+ years of experience in project and program management, specifically in public health programs.
• Diverse experience across private sector, non-profit, and government healthcare entities.
• Proven track record managing large-scale healthcare operations programs, preferably within the VA system.
• Strong leadership skills with extensive experience leading large teams.
• Ability to manage complex programs with competing priorities and tight deadlines.
• Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• PMP certification required.
• MBA or relevant advanced degree preferred.
