Your Role:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Program Manager to join our team. This role requires a strong background in federal acquisition, program management, and IT services. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated experience managing complex government contracts, leading cross-functional teams, and successfully delivering projects in a fast-paced environment. You will play a key role in overseeing the full lifecycle of acquisition projects, ensuring compliance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) requirements, and delivering value to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage federal acquisition programs, including planning, execution, and delivery, in compliance with FAR and agency-specific regulations.
  • Oversee multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams, including acquisition specialists, contract managers, technical experts, and IT professionals.
  • Develop and implement strategic plans for program success, aligning with client objectives and organizational goals.
  • Manage project risks, issues, and opportunities, ensuring proactive mitigation strategies and continuous improvement.
  • Provide regular status reports to stakeholders, including project sponsors, executives, and government clients.
  • Facilitate effective communication across project teams, ensuring alignment and collaboration.
  • Monitor and manage program financials, including budgets, expenditures, and profitability.
  • Utilize program management tools (e.g., MS Project, SharePoint, Jira) to track progress, manage tasks, and ensure project documentation is up-to-date.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for government clients, building and maintaining positive relationships and ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Ensure compliance with all federal regulations, contract requirements, and agency policies throughout the program lifecycle.

Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of experience in program/project management within the federal contracting environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, IT, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
  • PMP (Project Management Professional) certification required; PgMP, FAC-P/PM, or DAWIA certification preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience with federal acquisition processes and in-depth knowledge of FAR regulations.
  • Experience managing IT projects, acquisition contracts, and program budgets.
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage multiple projects in a dynamic environment.
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proficient with project management tools such as MS Project, Jira, SharePoint, and Microsoft Office Suite.
