Job Overview:
The Senior Project Delivery Manager will be responsible for overseeing the successful end-to-end delivery of software projects to enterprise customers. This role requires managing multiple project teams, coordinating with cross-functional stakeholders, and ensuring the timely, on-budget, and high-quality delivery of solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong project management skills, a deep understanding of software delivery processes, and the ability to work with both technical and business teams to meet client expectations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Management: Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of enterprise software projects, ensuring that they meet scope, schedule, and budget requirements.
- Team Leadership: Manage and motivate cross-functional teams (including software developers, designers, QA, and other key stakeholders) to deliver high-quality solutions.
- Client Collaboration: Act as the main point of contact for clients during project execution, providing regular updates and ensuring alignment on project goals and milestones.
- Risk Management: Identify project risks and issues early, develop mitigation strategies, and ensure timely resolution to prevent delays or cost overruns.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure that all project deliverables meet the quality standards expected by both the client and the company.
- Stakeholder Communication: Maintain effective communication with internal stakeholders, including senior management, to ensure they are kept informed of project progress and any potential roadblocks.
- Process Improvement: Continuously evaluate and improve project management processes to drive efficiency and quality across project teams.
- Budget and Resource Management: Manage project budgets and resources, ensuring that projects are completed within allocated resources.
- Post-Delivery Support: Oversee the successful handover of the project to support teams, ensuring proper documentation and knowledge transfer.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Management, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 10+ years of experience in project management or delivery management, with at least 2 years managing enterprise software projects.
- Strong experience in agile and waterfall project management methodologies.
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage complex projects.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
