Senior Project Engineer / Project Manager – Liquid Processing

I am currently recruiting for a Senior Project Manager for a global Engineering Project Management Consultancy who specialise in delivering major capital projects within the liquid processing arena (Brewery, Distillery, Dairy, Beverage, Pharmaceutical and Chemical industries).

They have a project pipeline of upwards £400m! and are looking to continue to expand their Project Management function as a result with positions which support remote and flexible working.

As such I am looking for experience Senior Project Managers with liquid processing experience.

Key Projects which require support

* New Canning Line (Brewery & Factory expansion, with refurbishment)

* New Bottling Line (Brewery)

* New Carton Line

* New Brewery systems

* New Dairy production

* New Soft drink line

* Extensive CIP Systems and process pipework projects.

Responsibilities

* Manage the delivery of various capital projects throughout the UK ensuring the complexity, cost, time-constraints are fully understood and managed.

* Continually monitor progress to ensure meeting of specific deadlines.

* Responsible for all stages of projects from development through to delivery. including, PI&D’s, URS creation, tendering and supplier selection, Resource, time and cost management, Control of contractors with CDM, Contract management, FAT, SAT and formal hand back and project closure.

* Support project development through Engineering capability as part of full Lifecyle project delivery in the capability function.

* Ensure projects are delivered to a high quality of engineering and technical standard Flawless management of changes to the scope and schedule of the project.

* Lead project update meetings, and document project status and issues.

Successful Candidates will be:

* Qualified – Degree, HND, HNC, BTECH or qualified in Mechanical, Electrical or Chemical Engineering discipline.

* Experienced Project Engineer or Manager with the Food and Beverage industry; ideally liquid processing.

* Experience in CIP Systems, Mixing Vessels, Agitators, Bottling, Canning, Tetra pak, fermentation and distillation systems, Presser relief valves and process pipework.

* Experience working win a hygienic industry, Food, Beverage, Pharmaceutical, FMCG

* Excellent communication skills.
