What You’ll Do
- Be the Customer’s Advocate: Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned National Accounts, collaborating to identify and schedule project deliverables, milestones, and tasks to keep projects on schedule.
- Lead Resolutions: Drive the resolution of commercial and technical issues, including payments, schedule adjustments, and change orders.
- Coordinate Key Meetings: Organize, facilitate, and document kick-off meetings, design reviews, and factory tests.
- Ensure Project Excellence: Develop, maintain, and monitor project plans, including goals, schedules, resources, risk assessments, payments, and contingencies.
- Drive Negotiations: Negotiate price, delivery, change orders, contract terms, and more to ensure fair outcomes and maximize profitability.
- Deliver Critical Documentation: Oversee the preparation and delivery of customer proposals, shop submittals, as-built documents, and operation manuals.
- Foster Collaboration: Coordinate with procurement, manufacturing, and other departments to ensure seamless delivery of systems and services.
- Keep Stakeholders Informed: Prepare project status reports, attend meetings, and communicate updates to management, customers, and stakeholders.
What You Bring
- Education & Experience: A Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related technical field with 5+ years of project management experience—or an equivalent mix of education and experience.
- Technical Expertise: Advanced understanding of project management or commercial construction concepts, with basic knowledge of electrical systems.
- Interpersonal Skills: Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills to work effectively with customers, vendors, and team members.
- Analytical Acumen: Advanced problem-solving capabilities with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Project, and the ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
