Key Responsibilities

• Oversee multiple projects ranging from routing and siting to ensuring construction compliance.
• Lead resource teams in conducting environmental studies and preparing permit applications, including FERC Section 7© and Third-party EIS documents.
• Liaise with federal, state, and local agencies to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams comprising engineers, attorneys, GIS analysts, and other stakeholders.
• Engage with the public and stakeholders during hearings and community meetings.
• Manage project scope, budget, schedule, and forecasting effectively.
• Participate in business development activities and attend industry conferences to enhance networking opportunities.
• Conduct field reviews and compliance inspections to uphold project standards.

Required Skills

• In-depth knowledge of FERC regulations and federal environmental statutes.
• Excellent verbal and written communication capabilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Strong organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail.
• Self-motivated with the ability to manage priorities effectively.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Planning, Geography, Environmental Science, or a related discipline.
• A minimum of 10 years of experience in environmental licensing and permitting for pipeline projects.
• Professional certifications are considered advantageous.
