Our client, a well-known organisation, located on the Gold Coast are currently seeking a Senior Project Manager (Network & Infrastructure) for an initial contract until June 2026.
The Project
The first project assigned to this role will be in Cyber Security space, managing the rollout of the latest networking security equipment and monitoring software to provide upgraded protection for the organisations IT systems.
The Role
The role of Senior Project Manager assumes accountability for delivery, both technical and business change, adhering to the organisations governance framework.
Drawing on your skills as an ICT Senior Project Manager you’ll have the opportunity to lead a variety of large, medium, or small sized ICT projects from foundational technology platforms and infrastructure to integrated enterprise and SaaS business applications.
What you’ll bring to your new role:
You’ll bring experience working with cross-functional teams to deliver complex projects, devising creative strategies to achieve business outcomes. As a mentor, you’ll support the Product Owner in defining the roadmap and prioritising the backlog, while fostering a culture of Agile practices and continuous improvement.
To succeed in the role, you will:
- Demonstrate successful delivery of complex IT Infrastructure projects.
- Have experience with IT networking equipment rollout, including Firewalls and security devices; Cyber Security experience is a plus.
- Establish and manage project governance structures.
- Report on project status and performance through governance channels.
- Coordinate acquisition of project resources (ICT hardware, software, services).
- Liaise and negotiate with internal and external vendors for cross-functional services
