Job OverviewWe are in search of a seasoned Senior Project Manager to spearhead organizational change management (OCM) and process enhancement projects for our federal government clientele. This pivotal role will entail the formulation and execution of strategies aimed at optimizing operational workflows, improving organizational performance, and facilitating transformative business change. You will be responsible for guiding cross-functional teams, managing business process reengineering initiatives, and assisting clients in navigating comprehensive change management efforts designed to elevate business processes and operational efficiencies.
Key Responsibilities
- Program Leadership: Direct and oversee organizational change management and process improvement programs across various departments and projects, ensuring alignment with strategic business objectives.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Cultivate and sustain robust relationships with senior client stakeholders while articulating project objectives, updates, and challenges with clarity.
- Change Management Strategy: Craft and execute thorough change management plans, encompassing change readiness assessments, communication frameworks, human capital evaluations, and training agendas.
- Process Improvement: Examine existing client processes, pinpoint inefficiencies, and devise innovative solutions to enhance operational performance.
- Team Management: Supervise a multidisciplinary team of consultants, analysts, and program personnel, ensuring the on-time achievement of program goals and milestones.
- Risk Management: Recognize potential risks and formulate mitigation strategies to guarantee the seamless implementation of process improvement initiatives.
- Continuous Improvement: Promote a culture of ongoing enhancement by identifying continuous opportunities for refining business processes.
- Contract Management: Manage contract execution and ensure adherence to federal contract stipulations and deliverables.
- Client Engagement: Act as the primary liaison for client inquiries and escalations, ensuring ongoing client satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.
Required Skills
- Proven proficiency in managing large-scale organizational change management initiatives.
- In-depth understanding of business process reengineering (BPR) methodologies and tools.
- Exceptional stakeholder management and communication capabilities.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Ability to identify, evaluate, and mitigate risks associated with organizational changes and process improvement projects.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Clearance: Public Trust clearance or the capacity to obtain one.
- Experience collaborating with federal agencies, particularly in organizational transformations and process optimization.
- Practical experience in Lean Six Sigma or comparable process improvement methodologies.
- U.S. citizenship or Green Card required.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in program management with a significant emphasis on organizational change management and process improvement initiatives, preferably in the federal government or public sector.
- A Bachelor’s degree is mandatory; a Master’s degree in business, organizational development, or a related discipline is preferred.
- Lean Six Sigma certification is essential; additional certifications such as Prosci, CCMP, or other Change Management credentials are highly valued. PMP or PgMP certification is also requisite.
