Senior Project Manager (Remote)

Te Kaunihera aa Takiwaa o Waikato (Waikato District Council) serves a large and diverse area, key towns include Raglan, Huntly, Ngaaruawaahia, Tuakau and Te Kauwhata. Smaller settlements include Gordonton, Matangi, Tamahere, Meremere, Port Waikato and Pookeno.

About this role:

• We have an opportunity for a Senior Project Manager to join our Organisational Delivery Team. The role is about leading teams to deliver a technology upgrade which spans across multiple business units.

What I do?

• Support the implementation and management of portfolio, programme and project governance frameworks and development of appropriate reporting tools which deliver value.
• Define scope and objectives of projects and develop detailed project plans to monitor and track progress.
• Provide guidance to the various stakeholders to devise effective and efficient approaches to achieve the project objectives aligned to strategy.

What I bring?

• You have at least five years’ Project Management experience in complex environments
• You have proven experience in delivering large scale technology projects
• You are a team player and have great people skills

Additional Information

Location: Ngaaruawahia

Hours of work: Full-time, two-years, fixed-term, 40 hours per week
