Key Responsibilities

As a Senior Roadway Engineer/Project Manager, your primary responsibilities will encompass:

• Executing roadway design and formulating comprehensive plans for highway projects.
• Leading project initiatives, ensuring timely completion of tasks, and providing updates to transportation leadership.
• Overseeing project scheduling, progress tracking, and overall coordination.
• Developing project proposals and cost estimates.
• Compiling final project documentation, including detailed quantity take-offs.
• Collaborating strategically with team leaders to enhance our competitive positioning in the market.

Required Skills

To thrive in this role, candidates should possess:

• Familiarity with AASHTO, FHWA, and INDOT standards is advantageous.
• Experience with MicroStation OpenRoads is preferred, though not essential.
• Knowledge of Alternative Delivery Projects is beneficial.
• Strong collaboration skills, enabling effective teamwork and idea-sharing.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will hold:

• A Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering (BSCE) from an ABET-accredited institution.
• Proven experience in designing and preparing plans for both interstate and local road/street projects.
• A Professional Engineer (PE) license is preferred or should be pursued within six months of employment.
