Senior Project Manager Structural Engineer Wfh (Remote)

We are seeking a Senior Structural Engineer / Project Manager to join our Transit Facilities division, where you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of transit infrastructure. Key Responsibilities

• Lead and direct the development of structural designs for transit infrastructure projects.
• Collaborate effectively with project managers, engineers, and clients to ensure project objectives are met, regulations are adhered to, and safety standards are exceeded.
• Conduct thorough site assessments and collect valuable data for rehabilitation, expansion, and repair initiatives.
• Provide technical oversight to ensure the integrity of technical drawings, specifications, calculations, and reports throughout project phases.
• Manage staffing budgets, schedules, and forecasting reports while monitoring project quality and progress.

Required Skills

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (or a related field) with a minimum of 15 years of relevant professional experience.
• Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) and Structural Engineer (SE) credentials, with the capability to secure additional licenses as necessary.
• Proficient in MS Office, industry-standard structural design and analysis software, and building information modeling (BIM) tools, such as Revit. Familiarity with CAD tools like AutoCAD or MicroStation is also required.
• Demonstrated expertise in managing projects and engaging with clients.
• Strong competency in developing structural drawings and documentation, performing quality assurance checks, and applying design codes such as ACI, ASCE, AISC, ASTM, and International Building Codes.

Qualifications

• An advanced degree, such as a Master’s in Structural Engineering, is preferred but not mandatory.
• Experience in conducting complex analyses with 2D and 3D structural design calculations. Proficiency in finite element analysis software (e.g., STAAD.Pro, SAP2000) is advantageous.
