Senior Project Scheduler | Get It – Professional Services | United States
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Project Scheduler to join our dynamic team in a remote capacity. This critical role will be instrumental in the planning, monitoring, and execution of diverse project schedules. You will collaborate closely with project managers and key stakeholders to ensure schedules are current, produce reliable projections, and assist with financial reporting throughout the lifecycle of important projects. Your expertise will be essential to maintaining schedule integrity and providing strategic insights that drive project success.
Key Responsibilities
- Schedule Management: Develop, update, and preserve project schedules in partnership with the project team.
- Review and Communication: Perform comprehensive schedule evaluations to ensure compliance with best practices and deliver constructive feedback to the project team.
- Comprehensive Planning: Engage in all stages of the construction planning and scheduling process, from proposal schedules to baseline creation and continual updates.
- Collaboration: Participate in project meetings, particularly those focused on scheduling, to offer insights and address schedule-related issues.
- Contract Insights: Grasp construction contract terms and their implications on scheduling processes.
- Performance Measurement: Assist with performance tracking, schedule trend analysis, and implement corrective actions as necessary.
- Reporting: Create detailed scheduling management reports, along with resource-loaded schedules and risk assessments.
- Technical Expertise: Utilize project drawings and specifications to craft precise schedules, ensuring project logic aligns with all planned activities.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in schedule management tools and methodologies.
- Strong understanding of project planning and financial reporting.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills for effective teamwork.
- Ability to analyze schedules, identify trends, and recommend actionable solutions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field (preferred).
- Equivalent relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
- At least 5 years of experience in planning and scheduling (preferred).
