About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Python developer with a strong background in trading algorithms and technical analysis, specifically with expertise in Elliott Wave theory. The ideal candidate will work on creating advanced trading systems, backtesting strategies, and implementing real-time data analysis with a focus on accuracy and performance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain Python-based trading algorithms focusing on Elliott Wave analysis.
• Implement, test, and refine trading strategies using technical indicators, including Fibonacci retracements/extensions, RSI, MACD, etc.
• Design robust systems for real-time data capture, analysis, and signal generation.
• Integrate with various trading platforms/APIs for live data feeds and trade execution.
• Optimize code for performance and accuracy in high-frequency trading environments.
• Conduct backtesting and analyze trading strategies across different timeframes.
• Collaborate with quantitative analysts and traders to fine-tune strategies.
• Develop tools to visualize trading patterns, indicators, and wave counts.

Required Skills:

• Proficiency in Python: Strong understanding of Python programming, libraries (Pandas, NumPy, SciPy), and design patterns.
• Trading Experience: Hands-on experience with trading platforms (e.g., MetaTrader, Interactive Brokers, Rithmic) and APIs (REST, FIX).
• Elliott Wave Analysis: In-depth knowledge of Elliott Wave theory, wave counting, and related tools (Fibonacci, impulse/corrective waves).
• Data Analysis: Experience with data analysis tools, real-time data processing, and working with time-series data.
• Technical Indicators: Familiarity with various technical indicators, their usage, and how to incorporate them into trading strategies.
• Version Control: Proficiency with Git and Git-based workflows.
• Database: Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases for storing and analyzing trade data.
• Visualization: Skills in data visualization using libraries like Matplotlib, Plotly, or other relevant tools.
• Strong Analytical Skills: Ability to conduct in-depth analysis of trading data and implement improvements.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Financial Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience with machine learning techniques and frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, Scikit-learn) applied to trading.
• Knowledge of other programming languages like C++, R, or JavaScript is a plus.
• Familiarity with financial regulations, risk management, and compliance.
• Experience in backtesting frameworks like Backtrader or QuantConnect.
• Knowledge of trading on different asset classes (forex, stocks, futures, cryptocurrencies).
