About the role:

As a Senior QA Engineer, you’ll become a part of a cross-functional development team engineering experiences of tomorrow.

Responsibilities:

• Actively participate in Agile ceremonies, such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives
• Identify potential blockers in advance and propose effective solutions
• Perform and automate unit and end-to-end (E2E) tests for Java and JavaScript projects
• Use tools such as JUnit, Jest, Vitest, Cypress, Karate, and Appium to ensure strong test coverage
• Manage and optimize workflows using GitHub and GitHub Actions, including designing and improving CI/CD pipelines
• Collaborate in an environment with a predefined tech stack, contributing ideas and perspectives to improve processes

Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience in QA in Agile environments, with proven experience in shift-left and shift-right testing methodologies
• Strong knowledge of Agile processes and ceremonies, with hands-on experience collaborating with cross-functional teams
• Experience in designing and automating unit and end-to-end tests for Java and JavaScript applications
• Proficiency with testing tools such as JUnit, Jest, Vitest, Cypress, Karate, and Appium
• Solid understanding of version control systems (GitHub) and CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions
• Familiarity with deployment methodologies such as blue-green
• Desirable: Knowledge of hexagonal architecture or experience working within systems that use it
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills, with a proactive approach to identifying and addressing challenges
