  Job Description:

  • Collaborate with the QA Lead organizing the QA team having a more innovative vision and looking for new possibilities and improvements we could implement
  • Help the QA Lead preparing and updating the different DevOps tools we use to measure the performance of the team
  • Helping on the definition and continuous update of the KPIs we share with the client
  • Continuous investigating and thinking of new tools and or process we could try or test to improve our methodology and efficiency of the whole QA team
  • Continuous review of status of all projects and follow their whole workflow looking for possible general errors and thinking of solutions for the long-term
  • Collaboration with cross functional teams to ensure quality throughout the whole software development lifecycle
  • Help, support, and maintain the goal of continuous and daily automated test execution and review failed tests thinking of ways of improving (new tools, methodologies, etc.)
  • Work closely with product managers from client to ensure that testing activities align with product requirements and business objectives and that our workflow is always efficient
  • Stay current with emerging technologies, tools, and best practices in automation testing and quality assurance

  Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
  • At least 5 years of experience in software quality assurance knowing both automation and manual testing and with special focus on innovation and new tools and methodologies of work
  • Strong proficiency in test tools and frameworks (both automation and manual)
  • Hands-on experience with programming languages such as Java, Python, or C#
  • Experience performing automation testing for Web, Mobile, and API applications
  • Good knowledge and experience in building test cases
  • Proven ability to design and implement scalable automation frameworks from scratch
  • Solid understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Define and enable all necessary testing tools, training, budgets, and forecasting
  • Create QA proposals and initiatives
  • Have knowledge and experience with Aviation
  • Serve as the subject matter expert for QA innovation and quality monitoring criteria
  • Results-oriented with bias for action, taking responsibility and ownership
  • Experience with continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines is a plus
  • Relevant certifications such as ISTQB or CSTE are desirable but not required
  • Experience in team leadership or project management is a plus
