Job Summary:

We are developing a deployment, management and monitoring platform for an HPC Filesystem, written fully in Rust. We are solving interesting problems in large scale deployments and own the whole stack from daemons deployed to individual nodes to orchestration to CLI tools to a GUI written in Rust compiled to Wasm.

Candidates with a background in Linux system administration and / or High-Performance Computing are encouraged to apply. Experience with async Rust, server development, CLI development preferred.

Principal duties and responsibilities for this role include but are not limited to:

• Software design and development for new features and maintenance of existing features.
•  Analysis of bug reports and development of software fixes on multiple platforms.
•  Work with the Engineering manager and a geographically distributed team to understand product requirements and features.
•  Contribute to and validate product documentation.
•  Assist with performance tuning of features for specific environments and use-cases

Qualifications:

•    BS/ MS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or equivalent degree/experience.

Skills and Experience:

•  Proven experience of software development experience in Linux environments.
• Senior-level experience with async Rust, server development, CLI development, and Web Assembly preferred.
•  Linux sysadmin experience valuable
•  Strong team player with good communication skills and should be self-starter.
•  Excellent time management skills, with the ability to prioritize, multitask, and work under deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
•  Experience with Git, GitHub and Jira preferred.
•  Prior experience working with enterprise-class or HPC storage systems and/or distributed systems a bonus
