Job Overview: We are seeking an experienced and motivated Senior Sales Manager to drive inverter sales across the DACH region. The ideal candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building and nurturing client relationships, and closing contracts. A strong understanding of the inverter market and renewable energy industry within the DACH region is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Business Development: Identify and pursue new client opportunities within the DACH market, targeting companies across sectors interested in renewable energy solutions, with a focus on inverter sales.
- Market Analysis: Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities to inform and shape sales strategies. Use insights to identify potential growth opportunities in the DACH region.
- Sales Strategy & Execution: Develop and implement sales strategies to meet revenue goals, actively participate in lead generation, and manage the sales cycle from initial contact to contract closure.
- Client Relationships: Establish, manage, and grow strong relationships with new and existing clients, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions.
- Contract Negotiation & Closing: Lead contract negotiations and ensure deals are closed to meet sales objectives, while also ensuring profitability and alignment with company objectives.
- Reporting & Forecasting: Regularly update management on sales progress, market conditions, and forecasts, providing insights to help drive strategy in the region.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Renewable Energy, or a related field; MBA is a plus.
- Successful sales experience, with a focus on inverters, renewable energy, within the DACH region.
- Demonstrated ability to develop new business, with a track record of successful contract closures.
- Strong knowledge of the DACH inverter market and renewable energy landscape.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills in English. Mandarin or German is a huge plus
- Self-motivated, proactive, and capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
