Description & Requirements
ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Scrum Master to join our team in Fort Meade, MD.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Leading an Agile team in meeting their delivery goals, executing team events/processes, and participating in Agile Release Train events/processes.
- Training and coaching an Agile team in Scrum, Built-in-Quality, Kanban, and Scaled Agile and ensuring that the agreed Agile processes are followed.
- Providing servant leadership for the team in support of their overall performance, ensuring no gaps and that the team knows how to plan, execute, review, and retrospect.
- Facilitating PI Planning, supporting iteration execution (with the team, Release Train Engineer, and Product Owner), improving team workflow, building high-performing teams, and improving ART collaboration/performance.
- Tracking key agile metrics to monitor team performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Taking direction from more senior personnel.
Basic Qualifications:
- 2 years of position-specific relevant experience and 7 years of leading an Agile team.
- 7 years of leading an Agile team.
- Bachelor’s degree in an IT or related discipline or business field.
- DoD 8570.01-m IAT Level-II Certification within 6 months of commencing work on the Task Order.
- Certified Scrum Master.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in an Agile development environment.
- Relevant industry standard certifications such as Scaled Agile Framework.
Clearance Requirements:
- Active TS/SCI with the ability to obtain and/or maintain a polygraph.
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to be in a stationary position more than 50% of the time.
- Must be able to communicate, converse, and exchange information with peers and senior personnel.
- Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a computer.
The projected compensation range for this position is $128,100.00-$181,900.00. There are differentiating factors that can impact a final salary/hourly rate, including, but not limited to, Contract Wage Determination, relevant work experience, skills and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location (For Remote Opportunities), education and certifications as well as Federal Government Contract Labor categories.
