Key Responsibilities:
– Conceive holistic software solutions addressing intricate business needs and technical hurdles.
– Forge system architectures covering software, hardware, network, and integration elements, ensuring scalability, reliability, and performance.
– Collaborate with stakeholders to glean and dissect requirements, translating business needs into precise technical specs and architecture blueprints.
– Scout and evaluate emerging technologies, frameworks, and tools to recommend optimal solutions for projects.
– Engineer prototypes and proof-of-concepts to validate design concepts and technical viability.
– Provide technical guidance and leadership to development teams throughout the software development lifecycle.
– Liaise closely with quality assurance teams to ensure accurate implementation of architectural designs meeting quality benchmarks.
– Prepare and maintain comprehensive documentation, encompassing architectural diagrams, design documents, and technical specifications.
– Identify and mitigate technical risks tied to solution designs, ensuring the security, reliability, and compliance of software systems.
– Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, engineers, project managers, and business analysts, to ensure successful software solution delivery.
– Drive continuous enhancement initiatives related to software architecture, design patterns, and development processes.
Requirements:
– Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
– Minimum 6 years of experience in software architecture and design, demonstrating a history of delivering intricate software solutions.
– Proficiency in software architecture design principles, patterns, and methodologies.
– Strong grasp of software development technologies and frameworks such as Java, .NET, Python, and JavaScript.
– Expertise with cloud computing platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
– Familiarity with database technologies (SQL and NoSQL), messaging systems, and enterprise integration patterns.
– Ability to create Data Flow Diagrams (DFDs) and Logical Diagrams.
– Proficiency with a wide range of software applications, languages, concepts, and technologies, including web development, databases, frameworks/CMS, APIs, designing, and various packages/tools.
– Experience with product management tools such as Jira, Pivotal, Bugzilla, and Asana.
– Excellent verbal and written communication skills, adept at conveying complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
– Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, capable of dissecting business requirements and translating them into technical solutions.
– Proven leadership skills, capable of guiding and mentoring development teams towards technical excellence and innovation.
– Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, adapting swiftly to evolving priorities and project requirements.
– Relevant certifications in software architecture, such as TOGAF or AWS Certified Solutions Architect, are advantageous.
