Senior Software Automation Test Engineer Java Selenium With Rest Assured (Remote)

• Manage, design, and document scalable test automation frameworks and infrastructure
• Collaborate with DevOps teams to build and integrate test and deployment automation into Advarra development pipelines, specifically AWS with GitHub Actions
• Monitor, audit, and maintain test automation frameworks and their related systems
• Own the Jira backlog for test automation frameworks
• Collaborate with stakeholders and deliver applicable quality and operational reports,using data to measure and improve process and product quality and efficiency of operations
• Engage and collaborate with a cross functional software development life cycle team to ensure high quality, timely product releases
• Deploy and maintain test environments
• Interface with external vendors on tooling and services necessary for framework solutions
• Identify and document defects in the software
• Project manage large projects
• Coach and provide feedback for other testers on the team and actively seek mentoring opportunities for peers and less senior coworkers
• Representing the Software Test Engineering team at product meetings (providing testing updates, escalating quality concerns, etc.)
• Extensive experience with Agile methodologies
• Suggest improvements to testing, processes, strategies, and best practices
• Actively participate in the continual improvement of the company’s Quality Management System
• Create and maintain reusable test assets that facilitate efficient software quality assessments
• Leverage client experience data to improve quality of product and operations
• Lead cross functional process initiatives within the SDLC organization
• Advocate for shifting quality left across the SDLC roles.
• Experience leading with Root Cause Analysis and Corrective/Preventative Action initiatives

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree, preferred

Experience:

• 5+ years of automated testing experience, including building and maintaining automation testing solutions for frontend UI and backend API.
• Previous experience in a technology driven, developing company is preferred
• Experience testing web applications, databases, and interfaces
• Experience or familiarity with regulatory requirements of ISO 9001 or ISO 13485, HIPAA, CMS, and/or 21CRF11
• Experience with test automation is preferred

• Demonstrated ability to effectively manage software testing projects
• Familiarity with manual and automated test strategies
• Strong attention to detail to identify defects
• Aptitude for excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to exchange

ideas and information within all levels of the company

• Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office
• Familiarity with SQL, Oracle, and PostgreSQL databases
• Working knowledge of clinical trial process and medical informatics
• Experience mentoring newly hired employees or less senior coworkers
