Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Full-Stack Software Engineer with expertise in WordPress to join our dynamic team. As a Full-Stack Software Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing websites using WordPress. You will be responsible for both front-end and back-end development, including architecture, themes / UI, and integrations (APIs, 3-parties, libraries).

Responsibilities:

• Create widgets, plugins, and additional sections for an existing website.
• Design and build the website/widget front-end.
• Design and manage the website back-end including database and server integration.
• Integrate the site with Third-party services and libraries.
• Create custom backend capabilities by using PHP/Laravel and MySQL as well as integrations with AWS resources.
• Create the website/widget architecture for both the front-end and back-end.
• Using WordPress themes and plugins.
• Conducting website performance tests.
• Troubleshooting issues.

Qualifications

Experience:

Technical skills:

• 5+ years of experience in web development.
• Strong knowledge and experience with PHP, WordPress, and MySQL.
• Understanding of front-end technologies, such as JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, and Bootstrap.
• Knowledge of object-oriented PHP programming using Laravel framework.
• Knowledge of how to interact with RESTful APIs and formats (JSON, XML).
• Good knowledge of Themes and Plugin Development and Customization.
• Experience with GIT and version control in general

Soft skills:

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Strong time management skills and ability to balance team and individual responsibilities.

Bonus skills:

• Experience with AWS2.
• Experience with JavaScript frameworks such as Vue.js, React.js, Angular.
