What To Expect (Job Responsibilities)

• Provide technical and thought leadership across multiple areas within the enterprise
• Collaborate with product managers and other engineering teams to address complex challenges
• Develop and execute a technical software development strategy for the Observability Engineering domain
• Mentor and coach team members to enhance technical expertise within the organization
• Analyze costs and forecast resource requirements, ensuring alignment with business objectives

What Is Required (Qualifications)

• Minimum 3 years of professional experience in software development and platform architecture
• Hands-on experience in building complex distributed systems with knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes
• Advanced knowledge of at least one OOP language such as Java, Go, or Python
• Experience with AWS, GCP, Azure, or hybrid data center environments
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, or equivalent education or work experience

How To Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)

• 3+ years of experience in open-source frameworks
• Experience in architecting and designing observability platform solutions
• Knowledge of big data formats such as Parquet or Avro
• Familiarity with open-source monitoring tools like Grafana and Prometheus
• Experience with continuous delivery (CI/CD) and Infrastructure as Code
