Roles/Responsibilities:

• We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Lead with 8 to 12 years of experience to join our dynamic team.
• The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Oracle, Unix, Tomcat, Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes, Spring Boot, Microservices, Spring Core, GIT, Core Java, Maven, and PL/SQL. Experience in the Payer domain is a plus.
• Oversee the implementation of best practices in software development and ensure code quality and performance
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members to enhance their skills and productivity.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Ensure the timely delivery of high-quality software solutions that meet business requirements.
• Implement continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines using Jenkins and other relevant tools.
• Manage containerized applications using Docker and orchestrate them with Kubernetes for scalability and reliability.
• Develop and maintain microservices architecture to ensure modularity and ease of maintenance.
• Utilize Spring Boot and Spring Core frameworks to build robust and scalable applications.
• Work with GIT for version control and collaborate with team members on code changes.
• Use Maven for project management and build automation to streamline the development process.
• Write efficient PL/SQL queries and optimize database performance for Oracle-based applications.

Qualifications:

• Candidate must Possess a Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Candidate must have 8 to 12 years of hands-on experience in Oracle, Unix, Tomcat, Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes, Spring Boot, Microservices, Spring Core, GIT, Core Java, Maven, and PL/SQL.
• Demonstrate strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
• Exhibit excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Display a proactive attitude and the ability to work independently in a hybrid work model.
• Have a strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies

Salary and Other Compensation:

• Applications will be accepted till Oct 19th 2024
• The annual salary for this role is between $56K-$82K depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
• This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
