Senior Software Engineer (Remote)

Oracle is looking for experienced Senior Software Engineers to grow our R&D team in Dublin. As a Senior Software Engineer on the team, you will be involved in development role to design, develop & release of Cloud-native application services and functions. Analyze designs, develop, test and implementing innovative solutions to ensure a high level of quality, robustness, scalability and performance while meeting delivery schedule commitments.

Working with cross functional teams in Quality, Documentation, Performance, Program Management to achieve agreed upon results, coordinating and working closely with remote teams to meet the needs of the project.

Playing a pro-active role to make the customer successful by addressing customer questions and issues.

Owning consistency and high quality in solution delivery

Adherence architectural best practices and standards.

Providing input into plans and work closely with the development manager to ensure project success.

Billing and/or charging experience would be an advantage.

Responsibilities

As a member of the software engineering division, you will take an active role in the definition and evolution of standard practices and procedures. Define specifications for significant new projects and specify, design and develop software according to those specifications. You will perform professional software development tasks associated with the developing, designing and debugging of software applications or operating systems.
