About The Role
This is a Senior Software Developer position where we are looking for someone who is passionate about Web Analytics and/or Experiment platforms. You will work directly with software developers to build solutions focused upon performance, scalability, and quality. You will also inspire and mentor software developers. Our engineers are smart, flexible, and love solving difficult challenges. They look to their leadership for clarity, support, career development, and honest feedback.

What You Need to Succeed as a Senior Software Engineering Developer at JustAnswer:
• You are:
o A clear, concise, and candid communicator, able to promote discussion between team members.
o Passionate about making an impact in product, business, and technical innovation.
o Comfortable making decisions in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with ambiguities.
o Experienced in building and managing Data Analytics Platforms or Experiment Platforms.
o A champion for Test Driven development and testable code.
o Able to deliver high performing, scalable applications.

• You understand:
o Modern front-end frameworks such as React.

o Best practices for data management of large datasets and database design.

o Modern distributed architectures and scaling
o Agile software development.
o How culture and team dynamics create exceptional teams.

• You have:
o 6+ years of full-stack development preferably in a startup engineering environment using various programming languages.
o 1-3+ years of large-scale software and/or webservices deployment.
o Experience working with cross functional teams (product, analytics, business leaders)
o Delivered multiple software projects simultaneously, with high quality and timely execution.
o Experience with high load websites, large datasets, and both functional and code complexity.

What you will do at JustAnswer:
o Develop andmaintain services, SDKs, Cloudflare workers, and web applications for our data collection and experimentation platforms.
o Design server-side components, modules, classes using .NET, Javascript
o Create front end componentsusing React, Redux, Typescript. and Javascript
o Follow and improve effective Agile CI/CD processes
o Assure our products are implemented to the highest standards with appropriate automated testing including Unit tests
o Improve code quality and deployment frequency
o Participate in reviewing designs and code of peer software engineers
o Mentor and train other team members on design techniques and coding standards
o When travel conditions re-open and are considered safe, international travel required approximately 2-4 weeks a year.

Process: HackerRank Test (60/ 90mins) followed by 2 Technical rounds
