Role Description

We are seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join and lead our world-class engineering team responsible for building ElectroNeek Intelligent Automation platform.

You will be responsible for providing guidance and mentorship to the development team, technical solutions, designing and implementing system components, writing and reviewing code, debugging and fixing, identifying improvement opportunities to refactor the code, and also considering those tasks that satisfy non-functional requirements: security, performance, deployment frequency, scalability, and monitoring. Along with the rest of the team, help maintain the quality, organization, and lifecycle of the entire platform.

Our technologies: Javascript, Typescript, Node.js, NestJS, Angular, C#, .NET, MongoDB, AWS, Docker, GitLab and Jira.

Responsibilities

• Designing and implementing system components, including those that satisfy non-functional requirements: security, performance, deployment frequency, scalability, and monitoring.
• Technical leadership: provide guidance and mentorship to the development team, ensuring that technical standards are met, and best practices are followed.
• Writing and Reviewing code.
• Architectural perspective towards the product, solve complex technical problems and make architectural decisions.
• Identify improvement opportunities and define refactoring and implementation plans.
• Testing and Quality Assurance.
• Assist with project management: collaborate with managers and stakeholders to define project requirements and scope and track project progress, ensuring timely delivery of features.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams including Support, Product and DevOps.
• Participate in troubleshooting incidents and helping Customer Support team.
• Take an active part in Scrum ceremonies.

Requirements

• 6+ years experience as a Software Engineer
• 3+ years in JavaScript, TypeScript, Node.js and MongoDB
• Experience with NestJs / Express or other JS/TS backend frameworks
• Experience with Angular
• Experience with .Net
• Experience in writing unit tests using TDD / BDD methodology
• Ability to write well-structured and maintainable code
• Good skills in the design of system components and their interconnections
• Experience working within a remote team
• Advanced Git user
• Experience with Kafka will be a plus
• Advanced English level to interact with a global team.
• Proven experience in leading and mentoring engineering teams.
• Strong decision-making skills and ability to drive technical direction.
