Job Description: As a Mid-Senior Level QA Developer, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality, security, and performance of our software applications. This includes developing and executing automated UI, API, performance tests, and security testing, as well as manual testing. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, contributing to improving the overall software quality through effective test automation, bug reporting, and integration with CI/CD pipelines. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies such as AI testing. 

Key Responsibilities: 

• Automation Testing: Design, develop, and maintain automated UI tests using Cypress with TypeScript and JavaScript for seamless functionality testing across web applications. 
• Security Testing: Conduct security testing using tools like OWASP ZAP and automate security tests through GitHub workflows to ensure the security of applications. 
• API Testing: Perform thorough testing of SOAP and RESTful APIs using tools like Postman to ensure robustness and functionality. 
• Performance Testing: Perform performance testing using tools like JMeter, identifying bottlenecks and ensuring optimal performance of applications. 
• CI/CD Integration: Integrate automated UI and security tests into CI/CD pipelines using Git, GitHub, and CI tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub), ensuring continuous quality assurance. 
• Manual Testing: Execute manual testing for complex scenarios and edge cases, ensuring high-quality releases. 
• Test Management: Manage and document test cases and defects using test management tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail), providing transparency on test results and defect status. 
• Bug Finding & Reporting: Actively identify, reproduce, and report bugs clearly and effectively in bug tracking systems (e.g., JIRA), maintaining detailed bug reports and test results. 
• BDD Test Scenarios: Prepare and write BDD test scenarios in collaboration with developers and business stakeholders for clear, business-readable tests. 
• Collaboration: Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to ensure that features and releases meet quality standards. 
• Leadership & Mentorship: Lead the QA team, sharing knowledge on best practices and test automation techniques. 
• Agile Environment: Work effectively within Agile teams, participating in sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives to deliver high-quality software iteratively. 
• AI Testing (Nice to Have): Gain exposure to AI testing and assist in creating AI test scenarios to ensure the functionality of AI-based features. 

Required Skills & Experience: 

• 5+ years of experience in automation UI testing using tools like Cypress, with strong proficiency in TypeScript and JavaScript. 
• Extensive experience with testing in different testing environments. 
• Performance testing expertise using tools such as JMeter to assess application performance and scalability. 
• Solid experience in security testing using OWASP ZAP, including automating security tests in GitHub workflows. 
• Proficient in API testing (SOAP/REST) with tools like Postman for thorough back-end testing. 
• Strong experience integrating UI and security test automation into CI/CD pipelines using Git, GitHub, and CI tools (e.g., Jenkins). 
• In-depth knowledge of manual testing methodologies and experience with test management tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail). 
• Experience preparing BDD test scenarios and familiarity with SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) and STLC (Software Testing Life Cycle) models. 
• Experience working in Agile teams with familiarity of Agile practices such as Scrum or Kanban. 
• Excellent ability to grasp functional knowledge quickly and effectively. 
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to articulate testing concepts clearly. 
• Leadership qualities with a collaborative mindset and the ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. 

Preferred Skills: 

• Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP) and how they integrate with testing tools. 
• Familiarity with additional testing tools such as Selenium, or LoadRunner for extended testing coverage. 
• Exposure to AI testing and the ability to contribute to creating AI test scenarios.
