Raya Foods; one of Raya’s subsidiaries, is hiring a Senior specialist costing .

What will you do:
– Perform month end close activities related to Cost Accounting.
– Prepares estimates of new and proposed product cost.
– Participate in stock counting process.
– Conduct Monthly Reports for Inventory ex. (Ending inventory, physical count, requested goods.
– Manage purchasing Prices for incoming raw material, equipment, services, and supplies.
– Ensure that all production costs are properly taken in the cost of sales and inventory costs.
– Analyzing the overhead costs and variable costs of the company to ensure smooth accountancy.
– Commit to maximizing efficiency at all levels without compromising quality.
– Review standard and actual costs for inaccuracies and analysing the variances.
– Validate the cost of goods sold as part of the month-end close.
– Analyze overhead and variable costs to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for cost savings.
– Regularly review and compare standard costs versus actual costs, investigating any discrepancies and reporting on variances.
– Work with management to implement cost-saving initiatives and process improvements without compromising product quality or operational efficiency.
– Ensure all costs are accurately included in the cost of sales and inventory valuations.
– Generate monthly reports on cost accounting activities, including inventory reports, cost breakdowns, and variance analyses.
– Provide recommendations based on cost analysis to support decision-making processes across departments.
– Ensure adherence to accounting principles, internal controls, and company policies.

Requirements:

– Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or any related discipline.

Technical Skills:
– Hands-on experience with accounting software.
– Excellent knowledge of Oracle system.
– FMCG Experience is preferable (Food & Beverage).
